Having your kids eat low-glycemic is a great first step on the path to wellness. If you are not familiar with low glycemic eating, just do a Google search on it. Glycemic ratings are the latest scientific method of measuring foods’ effects on blood sugar levels, energy, weight gain, etc.

Tip #2: Drink lots of water

I know your kids probably like soda pop just as much as the next kid, but it is not health for them. Kids need to drink lots of water. Drinks like soda or Gatorade can never replace drinking lots of water. Even fruit juice can’t. Water is an essential building block of health.
