Muscle and weight loss really can go hand in hand as the more muscle you have the more fat you burn to maintain the muscle this sounded like a reasonable theory and I put the magazine back on the rack to have a think about this information. For some time I had been thinking about muscle and weight loss and what I could do to get back into shape again I have written this article to let you know what was the breaking point for me to start to do something about my weight and to work on the muscles that had now gone to flab. The following steps are how I gained control of my life again.
Muscle and weight loss The turning point:
I knew over the years that I had gained quiet a bit of weight and became sedentary and literally gave in to middle age life and had a huge gut which is something that I had never had before and didnt like at all. The clothes that used to fit me strained when I tried to do the buttons up. I felt if I sit down I was sure one of the buttons on the shirt would pop taking someones eye out!
I think the turning point was when I was a few of my mates and they were joking saying what happened to the six-pack abs you used to have you now have a slab! Although we all laughed about this but it really got me thinking about how I really hate the way that I now look and feel and tomorrow I will do something about it.
Step 1:
I was quite over weight and was quite depressed due to extra body fat, later I decided to try gaining muscle and weight loss. I faced various issues due to my weight, I was not completely socially accepted and always found myself among people who I did not prefer being with. This scenario compelled me to going gym and start working out.
The instructor of my gym told me that according to my skin fold test and BMI measurements I was overweight and classed as obese over weight or was very high and to build proper body muscles, I have to first decrease my weight. He informed me about various weight training exercises and asked me to do these exercises in an aggressive manner. I lost weight but after I failed to build muscles. Then he changed my exercise routine and that routine was even harsher than the previous one. Even after sticking to that routine for days, I failed to build muscles.
What is a truly Healthy Natural fruit juice
Super premium fruit juice aims to get juice in its most healthy, natural form from the grower to to the consumer. Super premium juice is made up of the whole fruit skin and all, and is more like a juice smoothie. Whole fruit means plenty of fibre and far more vitamins and minerals in your diet. Whole fruit such as mangos, plums, peaches and berries are crushed rather than juiced so all of the fleshy goodness goes into the bottle.
Discover Super Premium Fruit Juice
In recent times Fruit Juice has been given a bad wrap, with many nutritionists stating that it is low in fibre when compared to eating whole pieces of fruit. But now there’s a new Juice category – Super Premium Fruit Juice – and it is growing at a very fast pace.
What’s the difference?
Most fruit juice contains only the juice from the fruit, not the flesh. The flesh of the fruit is where most of the goodness is. Most juice is also pasteurised (heated) for a long period of time to give it a longer shelf life. This process also diminishes the nutritional value of the juice, as many nutrients are lost in the heating process. A lot of bottled juice is also made from concentrate where most of the nutrition has been boiled out.
Fruit can play a great role in helping you to maintain your health. Fruits, in general, help to detoxify the body, are useful in the process of weight loss, and they can supply you with a great deal of energy. However there is an optimum way of eating fruits which many people are not aware of, and because of this they may not get all the possible benefits of fruit eating.
According to most experts of naturopathy, fruits should be eaten on an empty stomach and not at the end of the meal as is the custom in many places where fruits are eaten as a dessert. Suppose you eat two slices of bread and then a piece of fruit. The piece of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach and into the intestines, but is prevented from doing so, by the slower-digesting bread which has preceded it.
The food eaten before the fruit may ferment in the stomach and turn to acid when it combines with the fruit, so it is better to eat the fruits on an empty stomach or before the main meal. You may have heard people complaining about burping when eating a watermelon, or having to run to the toilet when eating oranges. This is caused by fruit mixing with undigested food of the main meal, producing gas, bloating and other unpleasant effects.
Another important thing to consider is that fruits which are commonly thought to be acidic, such as lemons or oranges, are actually alkaline when they are digested in the body. In other words, for most people these fruits are relatively easy to digest, and so the stomach produces only a small amount of hydrochloric and other acids to digest them. Thus, inside the body such food produces less acid, and is therefore called alkaline. The exception to this may arise in the case of those with hyperacidity or ulcer. If on an empty stomach when eating these fruits some pain results, then we have a case of hyperacidity. Temporarily the quantity or concentration or intensity of such very cleansing fruits should be minimized while the individual is slowly healing him/herself in other ways.
If you master the correct way of eating fruit you may even be able to avoid graying hair, balding, nervous outbreaks and dark circles under the eyes. Mastery of the correct way of eating fruit is a secret of beauty, longevity, health, happiness and weight control.
